Happy New Year!

For those of you that don’t know (my friends, clearly, do), I had bought a lot of linen products last year. I never was too obsessed with it, but it very practical, easy to wash and just easy to take care of, really. I was happy all in all. Then, with first drops of Autumn rain, in my head I went: ‘wellf***. There goes my linen Summer love.’ But then I found a few ways to wear it (well, at least I like it). Purchased this jumpsuit from Zara not too long ago and here you go.

Yes, I’m a fashion student, I should divide my S/S and A/W wardrobes into two. But heck, I’m also a part-time worker and a believer. I believe, I better invest to my Karolina Goes on Holiday project. Still holding onto my ‘Summer Nostalgics.’

Let's do some exciting Spring 2013 counting:

1. We celebrated Jennifer's birthday. She's 21 now! We went to Namco (to be honest, thought I'll hate it but it was so much fun) and to GBK for dinner. Do recommend trying Gourmet Burger Kitchen.

2. First successful online shopping experience.

3. One shop is now providing me with girly and feminine books daily. So, I'mma read, I'mma read, I'mma read. I'mma take that... (okay, if you don't know how this goes you should listen to this).

4. Finally started my FOUND notebook with a beautiful drawing by my friend Domile on it. I'll try to list my beautiful discoveries daily in order to not forget them.

5. It's getting warm in London. We're talking leather jackets, sunglasses and colourful nails here.

So today, whilst talking, grabbing my morning coffee and working with friends, I received two sentences that completely made my Monday and now, I can proudly say, I'm in my PJ's all smiley and shiny ready to finish reading Singletini.

'So, tell me, what is our princess expecting to do?'

'You know, I like our course, but I love it because of you.'

Have to live 19 years to be called princess and the one who brightens life at UCA.

Might as well have a Singletini to celebrate.

Have one warm, cozy and productive eve, beauties.

Goes well with Coffee: Miami Horror

I'm capable to handle January as a 'still winter' month but February, to me, is an official fun, search of a perfect bikini, shades and a maxi dress beginner. Don't want to see any wintery editorials no more, no A/W collections, please, just yet. So the same applies to everything: food, music, accessories, style, magazines and nail polishes.

In search of some inspiring music videos and just came across Miami Horror (again, because I do have a part-time crush on them).

Even if this looks disturbing or way out of everyone's comfort zone, isn't the girl lovely and lively?

She and Miami Horror are my greatest inspirers this productive to-be Monday.

Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture - Princesses in B&W

When you say: 'COUTURE' I think: 'PRINCESSES.' It's been that way and I'm truly sorry for my entirely (probably) wrong perception.

Giambattista Valli's collection 'wwwooooowww'ed' me in a charmed 10 year old's, who just finished watching Snow White, way.Yes, it's not exactly new, new but have some mercy on me and let me enjoy my 'princess' moment for 5 minutes at least.
